WELCOME TO THE ESTATE IN HEALDSBURG
We invite you to experience the Aperture gallery hospitality lounge, anchored in our historic Healdsburg vineyard where wine and art intermingle unlike anywhere else in wine country.
“A Winery Like No Other” -Forbes Magazine, 2020
Inside, inspired by Andy Katz’s renowned photography, the rooms and ceilings are designed to take advantage of the natural artwork created by the play of light and shadow throughout the day. And because we realize that some guests may want a more intimate experience, we offer a range of private rooms in which we proudly create perfectly curated experiences specifically tailored to meet your needs. Walk the vines. Enjoy the art. Savor the wines. We cannot wait to welcome you into our family, and into our world.
APERTURE WINES
The aperture of a camera lens changes the amount of light a photographer has to work with; at Aperture, we’re shedding light on what Bordeaux varieties in the cooler pockets of Sonoma are capable of. Warm, sunny days and brisk nights ensure that every bottle bursts with freshness, no matter how generous the fruit. None other than Wine Spectator has described our wines as “plump, intense and juicy” while remaining “clean and complex.”
Each sip embodies what makes Sonoma so exciting. We invite you to discover them for yourself.
“Aperture wines are small batch and they sell out quickly, but they are worth searching out, combining as they do the best of the Old and New World, delivering a powerful punch but well sculpted with natural balance and no acidification or other cellar tricks.”

VINEYARDS
Like the precise and varied array of lens filters in a professional photographer’s toolkit, we’ve identified a distinctly diverse set of vineyards, each harboring specific qualities that imbue our wines with varying shades of energy, tension, and complexity. Working with our legendary viticulturist Phil Freese, who helped shape the vineyards for Opus One and Robert Mondavi’s To-Kalon holdings in Oakville, we oversee every aspect of farming for sites in Northern California from our estate in Sonoma County to the Alexander Valley, Geyserville, Clarksburg, and Bennett Valley.
