2021 APERTURE ESTATE 1912 BLEND – SOLD OUT
The own-rooted, head-trained vines, planted in 1912 make up two blocks of the 40-acre estate property. Their yields are minimal, but the quality is breathtaking. This old-vine plot, like many of its era, is not monovarietal but contains a unique and purposeful array of varietals.
Available in 750ml and 1.5L formats
”This comes from mostly zinfandel vines planted in 1905. Dark fruit with black mushrooms and wet bark. Baking spices and dried fruits. Very complex. Full-bodied with layers of fruit with hints of chocolate and lots of polish and intensity. So flavorful. Brightness and density with so much character. Drink or hold.”
