Aperture wines are created in limited quantities and frequently sell out upon their release. Through the Aperture Wine Collective membership, we are able to offer an opportunity to grow your collection of both our rare and favorite wines, without the risk of selling out. As a member of the Aperture Wine Collective, you will be the first to receive notice of new releases, small lot wines, and special offers.

Shipment Details:
- What will be in each shipment?
By default, each shipment will include a mix of our newly released wines. You will have the opportunity to customize your shipment prior to the billing date if you’d like. Each shipment’s pricing will vary based on the bottles in each shipment.
- What will be the cost of each shipment?
You will only pay for the wines you receive, plus any applicable sales taxes and shipping fees.
- What wines are included in each shipment if I do not customize my shipment in advance?
Each Spring release will consist of a curated mix of the following new releases:

- When can I expect each shipment to be billed and shipped?
The Spring shipment will be billed in February and arrive in mid-late March. The Fall shipment will be billed in August and arrive in September. All shipments are weather permitting. If temperatures are not safe to ship at these times in your area, we will delay shipments until conditions permit.
- I’m going to be out of town. Can I delay my wine club shipment?
Absolutely, we do ask that you let us know in advance if you will need us to postpone your upcoming order and we will do our best to accommodate.
- Can I pay for expedited shipping?
Ground shipping is the default option for all club orders. You can opt to upgrade to 2-day or next-air and pay the difference when you customize your shipment, or by contacting members@aperture-cellars.com in advance of the ship date. - I live outside of the US, can I still join the Wine Collective?
Absolutely, we’d love to welcome you as a member. We are able to ship to many international destinations; however, please reach out to us before joining so we can confirm availability and provide an estimate. Complimentary shipping does not apply to international orders, and members are responsible for any duties or customs fees. That said, we’re happy to partner with you by splitting the cost of international shipping whenever possible. - How do I change my address?
Addresses would need to be changed in advance of the ship date. Please log into your account or email members@aperture-cellars.com to make any changes.
- Can I skip shipments or pause my memberships?
Absolutely! We ask that you contact Aperture in advance of any current release billing dates if you need to put your membership on hold or skip a shipment. Early cancelation charges may apply.
- What happens if I decide to cancel my wine club membership early?
If you opt to cancel your membership before you receive your spring and fall shipments you will incur a one time charge of any discounts received to the card on file. This includes but is not limited to discounts received on wine, tasting fees, events, and shipping.

- What discount do members receive on wine?
All membership levels will receive member pricing on all Aperture wines, excluding the Collage collection. All membership levels will also be eligible for member-only pricing on Aperture event tickets. All membership level will receive 8 or 12 complimentary tastings per calendar year. Complimentary tastings do not “roll over” year to year.
- How many complimentary tastings can I receive?
Dependent upon the wine club level that you join, you will receive the following complimentary in-person tastings annually:
6 bottle club: 4 soil series tastings twice per year ($400 value)
12 bottle club: 4 site series tastings twice per year ($600 value)
24 bottle club: 6 private tastings twice per year ($1,500 value)
Please note that these tastings do not roll over year to year if you do not use them.
- How does shipping work?
Depending on which club you join, ground shipping is a flat $20 fee (6 bottle club) or is included in your membership on all 6+ bottle orders (12 and 24 bottle clubs). This means all 6+ bottle orders you place with Aperture, so long as your membership is active, you will receive your membership level’s rate. Any 1-5 bottle orders will incur normal shipping fees. To upgrade to air shipping, you will just be charged the difference between the ground and air fees. - I live in Hawaii or Alaska, what will I pay in shipping?
We are proud to offer our Alaskan and Hawaiian members the same shipping rates that our inland members enjoy. Example: If you join the 12-bottle membership you will receive complimentary 2-day air on all 6+ bottle purchases.
- How will I know when I will be charged?
You will receive an email notification 1 week prior to the billing date of your shipment. This will signify the opening of the customization window and inform you of the current release’s bottle selections. After billing, you will see a charge from Aperture Cellars and receive an email receipt to the email address on file.
