The 2021 Del Rio Vineyard cabernet sauvignon demonstrates an elegant power driven by its unique hillside location in the southeast corner of Alexander Valley. With chalky volcanic soils, and little organic material, the vines’ development is controlled and restrained and the established fruit is concentrated and complex.

“The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Del Rio Vineyard was matured for 22 months in 100% new French oak. It has pure, layered scents of cassis, blueberries, milk chocolate, lilac, aniseed and conifer. The medium-bodied palate boasts a deep well of spicy fruit underpinned by iron-like tones. It has a seamless structure, offering an ideal balance of fresh acidity and cashmere-textured tannins, and a very long finish with a flourish of spice and floral perfume. This will be long lived in bottle!”
